The Chakras are spirals of light that bring energy into the bodythrough specific energy centers.Chakras are the wheel-like Energy Centers that control the activities of body organs There are seven major Chakras and twenty one minor Chakras in the human body Each Chakra has a color and is associated with certain organs. They are not physical organs and hence cannot be seen by the eye. They can, however, be felt and experienced during Reiki meditation and healing. The table below lists the seven major Chakras.
The reiki method of healing is mainly carried out on the chakras. The chakras are cleansed, energised and opened during the healing session. Thus enabling the body to be healed wholly and completely.
